Privacy
Short version: QR Studio has no backend, no analytics, no cookies and no ads. Everything you type or upload stays in your browser.
What the app processes
The content you encode (links, text, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details and so on), any logo you upload, and your design settings are processed only by JavaScript running on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
What is stored, and where
To keep your work between visits, QR Studio uses your browser’s localStorage on this device only:
- Settings and content of the current QR code.
- Your logo, downscaled to at most 1024 px.
- Saved themes you create with the Save button.
This data never leaves your device. To delete it, use Reset in the app (themes are deleted with the × on each one), or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
Clipboard and files
The clipboard is only accessed when you press Copy or paste an image yourself. Downloads, logo uploads and theme imports and exports happen locally through your browser’s normal file dialogs.
Hosting
The site is served as static files. The hosting provider (for example GitHub Pages) may log technical data such as your IP address when your browser requests the files, as with any website. QR Studio itself does not receive or see this data. See the hosting provider’s privacy policy for details.
No third-party requests
All scripts, icons and styles are bundled with the site. No fonts, trackers or other resources are loaded from other domains.
